Free Comedy Australia
Inspired by the 'PBH Free Fringe' that has revolutionised the famous Edinburgh Fringe, freecomedy.com.au was been feature of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival from 2012 - 2019.
Free Comedy Australia moved to the Highlander Bar in Melbourne in 2018.

Free Comedy @ Highlander at Highlander Bar in the Melbourne CBD was a genuine open mic welcoming anyone and everyone ran from 2018 - 2022. This included two seasons at the MICF. There were regular sell out shows and many of the performers who participated have gone on to become stalwarts of the Australian comedy scene.
59 Free Comedy ran from 2011 - 2017 at Station 59 in Richmond. It made an indelible mark on Australian comedy. It courted worldwide controversy and was loved and hated in equal measure for an uncompromising commitment to genuine free speech.
2021 Rebel Festival
Free Comedy Australia presented a Rebel Festival alongside the MICF in 2021 & 2022.
Over 70 acts performed over two weeks at Highlander Bar.
Highlights included #YesAllWomen Comedy, The Aristocrats Joke Competition, Breakfast Radio Active, The Late Show & the SA v VIC Showdown
